Coralie Turpin-Thomson

Coralie is a sculptor based in Sheffield who has been practising for over 20 years. She has worked on commissions for many parks, schools, hospitals and museums in Sheffield and beyond. Coralie teaches mosaic at her studio in Yorkshire Artspace’s Persistence Works. Basing her art mainly in mosaic, fabricated and cast metal, Coralie is interested in exploring themes such as geology, crystal/mineral formation, biological structures, human and animal forms. Her work is lively and joyful with uplifting, utopian messages.
