Sheffield Institute of Arts opened its doors in 1843 to supply creative support to the region’s manufacturers, in a bid to stay ahead of the growing global competition.
This relationship with the commercial and industrial continues today. Our students create in the real world through internships and placements with product designers, developers, filmmakers and fashion designers.
